The VIBE/Fast Car stand certainly got heads turning. The crowds couldn't get enough of the VIBE and Fast Car Girls, the best cars at the show and of course the loudest tunes.
Despite the weather there was another great turn out, with crowds visiting the stand in their thousands. With the usual crazy games, fantastic give-aways and oh, who could forget, the visit from the Dirty Sanchez crew, it made for a very successful and very popular start to the UK show season.
The Royal Highland Centre, Scotland, was the latest venue for one of the biggest shows to hit the north this year; ´Fast Car Full On´ , and VIBE once again joined forces with Fast Car magazine to create quite a stir in the main hall.
With the joint stand we certainly dominated the show, with over 200 square metres packed with everything you could want to see at a show. From pole dancers to page 3 models, Dirty Sanchez to the loudest, phattest tunes, the VIBE/Fast Car stand certainly had it all. And at over 5 metres high, there was no missing us.
On Saturday the crowds had the opportunity to enjoy a closer look at the VIBE cars and get a first look at the new MonoBox IV amps freshly installed in the ML. It was definitely ´ear bleedin´ loud!
As always, the gorgeous models on our stand pulled the crowds in. Michelle Marsh, Miss Fast Car 2004, and our two lovely pole dancers certainly made jaws hit the floor!
Sunday was hectic, a combination of brilliant sun shine, and a kickin atmosphere made for an un-missable day. We turned up the bass and the crowds just couldn't stay away, visiting the stand in their thousands.
Being rather a hot day had its advantages. With the addition of a large fan to blow air on the back of the ML, just in case it got hot, some bright spark thought of asking the models to sit on the back of the car. Great idea, the fan will blow their hair about and the pictures will look great, but it wasn't just their hair that blew!
Sunday also saw our friends from Dirty Sanchez making an appearance and they were surprisingly well behaved. After a long photo and signing session they all took time for a good look at our cars and gear. Joyce from Dirty Sanchez chose to have a SPL 15 for the back of his car, they may be mad, but they certainly have good taste!
VIBE glamour girls and pole dancers really turned up the heat at Birmingham´s NEC for Max Power Live, the biggest car audio event in VIBE´s 2004 show calendar.
It was the first-time appearance of VIBE´s latest demo car, the bright yellow VIBE Lamborghini Gallardo, and it was news of our "Text to win Audi TT", that got pulses racing at the three-day event.
Record-breaking crowds in search of babes, bass and moddin lovelies filled three halls at the NEC, creating an electric atmosphere and making Max Power Live a truly unmissable event once again.
No-one could avoid VIBE´s central stand at the show, whacking out the loudest "bad ass" bass and parading glamour models dressed in tiny yellow bikinis to match the VIBE Lamborghini.
The VIBE TT 225, up for grabs in our "Text to win" competition, took pride of place in front of Clarion´s impressive new show trailer and held the crowds to ransom as they dreamed of winning the car and ICE, worth over £40,000.
Michelle Marsh made a steamy appearance on the VIBE stand to pose with our cars and sign posters during the show. Our girls were also on the Ripspeed Stage giving away freebies and auctioning off VIBE gear. One of our pole dancers, Olivia, even beat off competition to get through to the final of the Max Power Babes on the final day of the show.
With Max Power Birmingham over for 2004, VIBE are planning something really special for Max London which kicks off later in the year in November at Excel, London
The brand new VIBE trailer made its debut at the Santa Pod Raceway for Ultimate Street Car this month.
VIBE´S 40ft monster of a trailer arrived ready to dominate the show and although there´s still some way to go before the VIBE truck´s complete, you can get the idea of how impressive this is really going to be.
Over 15,000 people camped overnight at the show but a heavy Friday night didn´t stop the crowds gathering at 7am on Saturday morning to watch the VIBE trailer pull into the Raceway.
By midday the place was crammed with cars and people, with crowd numbers peaking at around 25,000. The VIBE models, who were racier and raunchier than ever before, really got the party started early.
Olivia, who you may recognise from our Max Power stand, and her sister Natalie in her first appearance for VIBE, even developed their own sales technique by offering free lap dances. According to Natalie, her lapdances were "rather tame" but the sisters´ double act certainly got pulses racing.
The Audi TT "text to win" competition is well underway, with plenty of people texting for their chance to win the amazing car. The ML really made an impact at the show and was only drowned out by the Jet cars as they roared down the track.
Ultimate Street Car seems to be turning into the "outdoor event to be at" and we can´t wait for next year
Sultry sisters Olivia and Natalie left the crowds gagging for more pole-dancing action at the Donny South show when they put in an appearance on the main Ripspeed stage.
But luckily, there were also poles attached to our new 40ft monster trailer so there was still more than enough eye candy to keep everyone entertained. The VIBE team are working around the clock on the trailer to create a huge surprise for all modders and ICE fans, so watch this space for further developments!
The weather was hot and the ML 55 AMG really cranked out the tunes and the summertime beats. The VIBE team also took along the Audi TT just to remind the Donny South crowds what they could soon be driving home in own in our "text to win" competition (see link below for TT competition details).
Olivia and Natalie carried on working up a sweat on the poles and eventually had to peel off the layers until they were down to their skimpy bikinis. When Olivia got going to the Prodigy's "Firestarter" the temperatures really soared to dangerous levels.
The VIBE team and the girls will definitely be back for some even steamier action at Donny South 2005.
It blew so hard we thought we were going to lose the roof and that was just the bass blasting from the VIBE stand..
The howling winds near threatened a ´mare´ in Weston as the new VIBE models struggled to keep what was left of their clothing ON. Lucky the VIBE crew could all take shelter in our new custom-designed, fully kitted out, 40-foot monster show trailer. No room for the cars though they had to weather the storm.
We KNOW what you like and how you like it, so we brought down the TT, the ML and the BMW to show this year and drew in the usual connoisseur crowd of bass hungry crazies. All the major players were there, but with the VIBE A3 holding court in the Uplands stand we got the whole show covered.
This year saw MORE people and EVEN MORE cars than ever before with bass junkies and cruise crazies clustering round the trailer for their opportunity to sample the full VIBE extreme experience and stunning new show girls, Nina and Rebecca. See them for a repeat performance at the NEXT show on Sunday (TRAX).
Yup the trailer means we are becoming even bigger and even better live, so expect to see us at pretty much ALL the major shows and cruises from now on
We moved more than air that day. The bass that blasted from the VIBE stand cut holes through the heat haze and the show trailer steamed as the new VIBE girls, Rebecca and Nina, writhed through another SCORCHER of a day. Oh yeah. The sun blazed red HOT for the TRAX show at Silverstone and we worked up a sweat keeping on top of the hoards of you bass junkies eager to experience the show EXTREME VIBE style.
Armed with our show stopping 40 foot monster trailer, the VIBE BMW, ML, AND TT, our artillery looked packed then the Lamborghini landed and we caused a near riot as more of the 30´000 crowd laid in to get a closer look. Or as close as they could- the booming bass kept most at ear-bleeding distance.
We are fast becoming the style setters for live shows, and pack in what we promise extreme experience loads of live action, LOADS of sounds the very best babes- QUALITY. Better book your tickets for next year cos we´ve got new products and show cars to launch. Max London will give you a taster of what we´re putting together starting with the fully fledged, sooped up version of the show trailer. You think you´ve seen it all? you aint seen NOTHING yet.
The VIBE Truck made its debut at Ultimate Street Car earlier this year. People were impressed then, with the trailer used as a backdrop to our cars. But all we could do was hint at our plans for the end of the year at Max Power London.
To say we created a stir is rather an understatement. We shook Excel. The VIBE Bass Tunnel was only finished on the Thursday evening before setting off for the show. So completion and testing didn't give us much time to stand back and see what we had created. The answer... VIBE have created a monster! On the very edge of the power we could get into the Artic, we were knocking drinks off tables on competitors stands!
And what is making all this noise? Basically one 40ft trailer with the biggest audio install you're ever likely to see. Consisting of a 6 metre wall of full range speakers with a bass tunnel in the centre, containing 40, Max Power Gold Award winning, Space 15 "Subwoofers. And that's the different bit, other people have done large installs, but how many can you actually walk through? But even VIBE draw the line at some point, so for our "bigger" demonstrations, the tunnel has to be emptied of people. But even stood on the stage in front of the tunnel takes your breath away, literally.
Adam Rayner came onto our stand to experience the tunnel first hand, making the announcement for the first demonstration of the new VIBE Bass CD.
Not only was the tunnel amazing to hear, but it also became on the hottest location for photo shoots, with loads of girls from the Max Power Bikini Babe contest, Car Clubs or just other stands, having shots taken in and around the Bass Tunnel or VIBE show cars. The Bass Tunnel may be amazing but the Lamborghini Gallardo and Mercedes ML still draw the crowds in.
So what's next? as you read this, the truck is on the long voyage to Las Vegas for the CES in January, but don't worry, it will be back in plenty of time for next years shows, it looks like VIBE will be everywhere next year!
